Tommy and his wife Jill have twin daughters Summer and Riley. Tommy joined Howard Services in 1993, became a partner in 2000 and sole owner in 2005 of what is now HS Brands International. In 1999 Tommy was a founding member of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association and was inducted into the MSPA Hall of Fame in 2005.  He served as President in 2007. In 2000, Tommy created the mystery shopping industries’ first web based software platform, SASSIE. In 2004 he acquired a Private Investigators License in Nevada and became the first mystery shopping company in the US that could legally mystery shop in all 50 States. Since 2008 Tommy has been in charge of growing HS Brands globally, which he has done by adding to the Boston and Las Vegas offices with Buenos Aires, Nassau, Milan, London, Istanbul, Beirut, Bangalore, Delhi and Hong Kong. Tommy is a member of The Entrepreneurs Organization, is an avid golfer, billiards player, has visited 30+ countries and is a music and movies fanatic.

Mike has designed, managed, and consulted on Brand Protection & Loss Prevention solutions for global food service, franchise and retail brands including Baskin-Robbins, Arby’s, GNC, Dunkin’ Donuts, and many others. He is the President Elect of the Mystery Shopping Providers Association (MSPA-NA) and prior member of the National Restaurant Association’s Audit and Loss Prevention Executive Study Groups, and the Food Service Security Council, where he has served as past chairman and/or Board Member. Mike has appeared in Nations Restaurant News, QSR Magazine, NBC Nightly News, ABC News Online, and Money with Melissa Francis on the Fox Business Channel.

Kevin joined HS Brands International in April of 2012 as the Director of Key Accounts and was tasked with working closely with our clients in 2014, he was promoted to Director of North American Operations, overseeing our Foxboro and Las Vegas offices. Prior to joining HS Brands International, Kevin held various positions in sales, marketing, analyst, and project management roles. He also has worked in a number of different industries including, software, manufacturing, and market research providing him a unique view of our operations.

Mike manages HS Brands’ Brand Protection & Loss Prevention business. He is a Licensed Private Investigator whose specialties include Internal Theft and Fraud Investigations, Royalty Assurance Services, Loss Prevention Outsourcing, Workplace Violence/Crisis Management, Mystery and Integrity Shopping, Organized Retail Crime Investigations, Interview/Interrogation, and Executive Protection. Mike is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, ASIS International, The Loss Prevention foundation and the Restaurant Loss Prevention & Security Association. In 2009, he founded the Global Investigation Network. This network is comprised of senior level security, loss prevention and investigation professionals from around the world.

Michael is a graduate of University of Massachusetts. After university Michael cut his teeth in sales selling human capital management software for two industry leading providers. He then made the switch to the Brand Protection industry by managing HS Brands Hospitality accounts before transitioning into sales. Michael now oversees the global sales effort for HS Brands from the HS Brands Europe office in London.

Josh began his market research career after years of managing retail stores because he wanted to understand what made his customers tick. After switching careers and starting with a market research firm, he was trained in market research techniques, earning a Certificate of Marketing Research from the University of Georgia, and was allowed to apply his understand of retail environments across a host of practices, with Mystery Shopping quickly becoming his favorite. He has managed all aspects of Mystery Shopping project development and in-field execution, including project scoping, questionnaire writing, report editing, vendor management, and insight reporting for local, regional, and global projects.

Brenda grew up in Rhode Island, where she graduated from college with an IT degree. Brenda has been married to her husband, Lou for 29 years. She joined HS Brands in 2001. In 2007 Brenda was offered a job as Director of West Coast Operations in Las Vegas so she moved her family West. A year later she became VP of West Coast Operations. In 2012 Brenda decided to go back to her roots of IT and now provides global IT support for HS Brands. Brenda is also a cancer survivor and has done years of volunteer work for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society doing telethons, annual auctions, radio announcements and was a featured speaker at an Oncology nursing symposium.
